Time Lapse in the News: Media Coverage of Collingswood's Retro Store

Time Lapse has attracted regional and national attention for its mix of vintage toys, Japanese imports, records, VHS, games and unique collectibles. The store’s maximalist displays make good television, but the coverage also shows why the shop has become a destination for collectors and visitors to Collingswood and Philadelphia.

Television and Video Coverage

6abc visited Time Lapse for a video feature focused on the store and its collection. ABC’s Secretly Awesome series also featured the shop as a distinctive place to visit.

CBS Philadelphia included Time Lapse in its Small Business Saturday coverage, and FOX 29 visited during the holiday shopping season.

Newspaper, Magazine and Online Coverage

NJ Pen covered the store’s opening on Haddon Avenue. Time Lapse was later recognized by SouthJersey.com and included in a South Jersey vintage-shopping guide from SJ Magazine.

Additional references include the Philadelphia Inquirer, MyCentralJersey, a Philly Home Girls guide to Collingswood and the independent Toy Store Guide.
